What is Delight Ministries?
Delight ministries is a group of girls who learn, grow, serve, and live in Christ. Delight is a weekly bible study using devotionals written by college students covering a wide variety of topics. We will talk about college and boys and how God plays a role in all of that. AND what is a meeting without coffee and snacks?! (I don’t know about you but that is always a game changer for me!) Throughout the semester we will have weekly bible studies, delight dates every other week, one worship night, two community events (that will include going to dinner together, seeing a movie, having a craft or game night, etc.), and two service project events. What are delight dates?? Delight dates are a way to get to know girls in the group. Every other week each girl will be randomly paired with another girl. For the next two weeks, the girls can grab coffee or lunch, write each other letters, walk each other to class, or send each other motivational texts throughout the week.

Community
"Matthew 18:20 says, “For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them” (ESV). Delight is a community that yearns to be in God’s presence. Gathering together in His name is naturally an important aspect of what we do. On top of meeting weekly for bible study, we want to be a community that simply does life together. We want to break bread with one another, laugh and play games, and be there for each other in the exciting and hard times."

Worship
"We believe in the power of coming together as a body of women to worship because we’ve seen what can happen, how hearts can be transformed, and how the Lord shows up. All other aspects of Delight welcome sharing, discussion, and act as a time of learning from one another, but Delight worship nights are meant to be a time where we simply listen for the voice of God. We aim to block out all distractions and create an environment where all are free to worship and pray in whatever way makes them feel comfortable."

Delight Dates
"Delight Dates gives the women of Delight an intentional person in their life every few weeks to outdo in honor. This can look different for everybody. It can look like grabbing their favorite coffee drink for them, sending an encouraging text message, leaving them a note, bringing them a pastry to class, or even just praying for them. The most important part is to get to know them and their story. Meet for coffee, lunch, or dinner, just invest a couple hours in finding out who they are. This will help you to better honor them."

Bible Study
"The most important aspect of Delight is meeting together once a week for bible study. Delight doesn’t follow the typical structure of most bible studies but instead centers around the Delight curriculum used by ALL Delight chapters. This curriculum is a compilation of stories from college women all over the country in which they share about their own personal experience in chasing after the heart of God."
